Pine wood durby

The beginning of my pin e wood Derby.

I started this because our ward was having a Pine Wood Derby for our combined activity. So my scouts came to my house to use the band saw and make their cars.

We had three weeks to build our cares. on the third week at mutual we had our race. I couldn't race because my car was over weight. Max was 5 oz and my car was 5.8 oz. I raced after wards with the other over weight cars.

As you see the doors open and yes I know that the General Lee's doors were welded shut.

The car is made completely out of wood except for the tires and the two finish nails that I used for hinges on the car. It was fun to do! I haven't had that much fun in a while.
